Xanadu was a 2025 experimental immersive staging of the 2006 Broadway musical, itself based on the 1979 cult classic film starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly. Developed at UCLA, it explored the use of emerging technologies such as extended reality and artificial intelligence to create new audience experiences.
